Coral ambassador previews Sunday’s rides at Ascot

Ascot 13.20 – Lethal Angel

My agent has got me a few good-looking outside rides here, starting with Lethal Angel.

I was on her last time when she rode a nice race at a big price at Leicester, that was over six furlongs but the five furlongs here at Ascot is quite stiff, so that shouldn’t be a problem, and off a low weight here I think she’s got a handy chance.

Ascot 13:55 – Mubaalegh

This six-year-old was a four-time winner for Sheikh Hamdan in France, and has now switched to Marcus Tregoning following John Hammond’s retirement.

Generally speaking, the sprinting form is stronger over here, but he showed some decent form in France. This will be a bit of a fact-finding mission, but we’ll learn more about him and where we might go in the future with him.

Ascot 14.30 – Jeremiah

This fellow was off for the whole of 2019, and has had two runs since racing returned this season.  He was a big price both times, and he ran accordingly, so he does need to take a big step forward here, but connections have persevered with him so I hope he can show them something more encouraging.
