We only have the one runner at Hamilton on Sunday, so all our focus on the card turns to Nolton Cross.

He’s drawn nicely and that should give his rider plenty of options in what looks the sort of race that could work out well for him. I think the key to him is decent ground and conditions should suit, which is encouraging.

He’s been in good order at home and, while I’m always a little cautious about being too bullish beforehand, I do feel he’s capable of running a very nice race if things fall his way. Hopefully, he can travel into it nicely and give us something to cheer.
