Red Bull head to their home circuit fresh from securing three successive wins for the first time since 2013 and will hope to seize control of the F1 drivers’ championship in Austria.

The next two races will be held at the Red Bull Ring, with the Austrian Grand Prix to follow this weekend’s Styrian Grand Prix, which gives Max Verstappen a great opportunity to stretch his lead over Lewis Hamilton.

A dramatic late pass in France last time out gave the Dutchman a 12-point lead in the standings and he is 5/4 joint favourite to rack up another win this weekend.

Verstappen and Perez the form men

Verstappen has fond memories of the Red Bull Ring, having won the Austrian Grand Prix in both 2018 and 2019. Last season he finished third at the Styrian Grand Prix before being forced to retire a week later.

The track is one of the fastest and shortest on the calendar and may offer Red Bull a chance to utilise the straight-line speed advantage over Mercedes they showed in France, with Verstappen evens to take pole position.

Perez has found his feet at Red Bull after a tricky start to the season, winning in Azerbaijan before nailing his strategy to finish third in France.

The Mexican has a strong record in Austria and is 8/1 for victory this weekend or evens to finish on the podium again.
