Minnie Hauk Now Favourite For Arc Glory

Minnie Hauk, who will race from stall one on Sunday, is the 7-2 (from 4-1) favourite with Coral for the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, following the draw for the big race today. Aventure is in stall 12 and has been eased to 9-2 (from 4-1), while two of Japan's three representatives, Byzantine Dream and Croix Du Nord, were drawn high in 15 and 17 respectively, and as a result their odds have drifted to 11-1 (from 8-1).

Minnie Hauk now looks set to start favourite for this year's Arc after she was handed stall one and her main market rival, Aventure, ended up in stall 12, while the Japanese quest to win their first Arc appears to have been dealt a blow with high draws for two of their three challengers, and as a result both Byzantine Dream and Croix Du Nord have been eased in the betting.
