Under-fire manager Steve McClaren’s men have conceded joint most goals in the Premier League this campaign, with a whopping 30 having snuck into Newcastle’s net across just 14 games.
Though the Magpies boast a respectable recent record against the Reds at St James’ Park, having taken 10 points from a last possible 15, in current form they look incredibly unlikely at 19/4 for victory with Coral, or even at 3/1 to end evenly.
The hosts have leaked eight in their last two league games alone, while visiting Liverpool have found the net in every match since Jurgen Klopp took control, bar his bow back in October. So, it may be wiser to back the rampaging Reds at 9/2 to win by three or more in an excellent Coral match special, with a maximum stake of £20.
Klopp is now just four points off a coveted top four spot, having racked-up three Premier League wins from his past four, including impressive away demolitions of Chelsea and Manchester City.

Set to reshuffle his pack after a midweek mauling of Saints, Klopp can call on a variety of Reds attackers to trouble the wobbly Magpies rearguard, though midfield conductor Emre Can is suspended.
In a boost, playmaker Philippe Coutinho (15/8 in the anytime market) could return to combine well again with compatriot Roberto Firmino (superb at 6/4). While Belgian frontmen Divock Origi (fresh from being a hat-trick hero) and Christian Benteke will also hope for a taste of the action, and are priced at 15/8 and 9/2 to net anytime and last respectively.
Yet, it may be Daniel Sturridge customers should watch out for on Tyneside. A recent game-changing brace aside, the Englishman has hit three in his last four versus Newcastle. So, choose the striker in another excellent match special at 9/4 to score and Liverpool to win (max stake £20), or 4/1 to notch the first.

As for Magpies marksmen Ayoze Perez, who hit the winner in this fixture previously, is also on offer in a match special at 9/2 to sink one past the guests anytime, with the same maximum stake. Alternatively, Papiss Cisse scored last for the Northeast outfit and is 15/2 to have the final say.
