Estrange & Kalpana Odds Shorten with Rain Forecast For Arc

Estrange is 12-1 (from 20-1) with Coral for the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, while Kalpana is 10-1 (from 16-1) for the race, with some forecasters now predicting heavy rain over Paris ahead of Sunday's big race. Minnie Hauk and Aventure head the Arc betting as 4-1 joint favourites.

It was looking as if the going for this year's Arc would be on the quicker side, but now there are forecasts of heavy rain in the French capital on Saturday, and punters have been quick to support the likes of Kalpana and Estrange, who would appreciate any ease in the Longhchamp ground conditions

By contrast, Giavellotto, who is very much a quicker surface horse, is on the drift, and is now 40-1 having been as short as 16-1 earlier in the week.
