An Irish punter will have an Easter to remember, after he landed a remarkable treble on Saturday’s Fairyhouse card.  The man, who placed the bet online with Coral, scooped more than €331,000 when all three selections in his €20 each way treble won, at odds of 9/1, 33/1 and 50/1 respectively.

Don Chalant got the ball rolling when wining the 2.10 at best price guaranteed odds of 9/1 (early price 7/1), before Ardera Ru won the 3.20 at an early price of 33/1 (SP 18/1), leaving Mousey Brown to complete the remarkable bet in the 4.30 at an early price of 50/1 (SP 33/1).

“This customer will have an Easter to remember after he somehow picked these three big priced winners at Fairyhouse, turning €40 into more than €330,000 as a result.  Never mind chocolate eggs, this jackpot is more of a golden egg,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
