Djokovic and Murray both to win in straight sets at 11/8

Wimbledon has now reached the third round, and Coral are giving punters the fantastic opportunity to back both last year’s finalists Novak Djokovic and defending champion Andy Murray to win their respective matches in straight sets. In a one-off, the odds on this happening have been enhanced to 11/8.

Number three seed Murray, who demolished his last opponent Blaz Rola 6-1, 6-1, 6-0, has dropped just 12 games going into his next battle against world number 23 Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut.

This is the 26-year-old’s first time in the third round of Wimbledon, and has never faced the Scot before. Only once has Bautista Agut reached the fourth stage of a Grand Slam, at the Australian Open this year, and that is why Murray is so heavily odds-on at 1/14 to win, and 1/2 in straight sets.

In the last six times Murray has played at Wimbledon, the double Grand Slam winner has reached the quarter-finals at least.

Djokovic, who also has a grass Grand Slam title to his name, in 2011, faces French world number 44 Gilles Simon in his third round, first up on centre court. The Serb has made it to the quarter-finals at least in eight of his last nine visits to SW19, and is the overwhelming favourite to beast his third round opposition again at 1/33, with a 3-0 victory priced at 1/4.

Simon reached fourth round only once at Wimbledon, in 2009, and was knocked out at the first hurdle last year. This will be the eighth meeting between the duo, with Djokovic winning each of the previous six, and the last three out of four in straight sets.
