Another weekend which included three derbies in the Premier League has thrown up yet more surprises and shocks. Read on to find out who made our much anticipated team of the week!
Sunderland’s goalkeeper was pivotal to their immense 3-0 derby win over fierce rivals Newcastle United, making a number of crucial saves. He definitely kept them in it in the first period, then denied his team’s opponents any chance to get back into the match late in the second-half.
A hugely energetic performance from the Black Cats right back was capped by, albeit a fortuitous goal, as he followed in Yann M’Vila’s well-struck volley, though was gracious in his celebrations. Sunderland are now 15/8 with Coral to stay up.

It seems Sam Allardyce’s presence has got the best out of the former Spurs defender already, who made a number of last ditch tackles and capped his performance with an assist from the highest echelons of crossing ability on the counter-attack, to tee up Steven Fletcher.
If it wasn’t for the Frenchman’s goal, Arsenal wouldn’t have had a big enough cushion and may not have been able to hold out against Everton in what was a tough match for the Gunners.

Another fantastic showing from the ex-Manchester City midfield, his all-action style is exactly what the Reds need and his superb, pinpoint delivery from deep enabled Christian Benteke to give Liverpool the lead in their 1-1 draw with Southampton.
Clawed Swansea back into the game against Aston Villa with an equalising goal from the free-kick, sending it up and over the wall. A great strike.
Responsible for assisting the opener in West Ham’s 2-1 win over Chelsea in their London derby and the Frenchman has been magnificent for his side since switching from Ligue 1 in the summer and can be key to helping the Hammers challenge for a European place, with the side 3/1 for a top six finish.

Scoring in his seventh straight Premier League match, what a season this is turning out to be for Leicester City’s latest England call-up. A pivotal strike as the Foxes rallied to a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace.
