A course and distance winner who is most effective on soft ground, this seven-year-old’s mark has been sliding in the right direction and his trainer is seeing plenty of success.
A point-to-point winner on testing ground, this gelding was disappointing on reappearance after a lengthy lay-off but progress is a fair expectation, and his action is such that he should thrive on this ground.
Capable on soft ground and close behind two very promising individuals in a novice hurdle last out at Warwick, this mare of Dan Skelton’s can do better than her debut and should be a big player here.
Venetia Williams’ horses are really hitting their stride now and this eight-year-old is down to a very workable mark now, as well as having proven ability to handle testing ground.
In a fairly weak race, this reasonably consistent filly goes well on soft ground and represent’s Neil Mulholland’s stable who are bringing home a good set of results this term so far.
A course and distance winner before a long lay-off, this mare goes best on soft and heavy ground, so may bounce back for her in-form trainer, Mel Rowley.
Conditions may be fairly attritional by this point of the afternoon, so this nine-year-old’s heavy ground form looks tempting. He’s given seven pounds by his rider, so carries very little weight and may have his day here.
