Coral's Daily Racing Tips - Hexham - December 10, 2025
Second on her first attempt over hurdles at Wetherby last month, this mare represents a stable who tend to do well with those who go from the Flat to hurdles and this looks to be another successful type.
Given five pounds by rider Conor Rabbitt, this five-year-old showed promise in bumpers and debuts over hurdles here for a stable who have plenty of success at Hexham.
This Gordon Elliott-trained Irish raider won at Ayr last time out on his first start for the handler. Having shown he can handle testing conditions that day, he looks all the more likely here and is given weight by his rider to counteract a seven-pound penalty.
Equipped with cheekpieces for the first time today, this James Walton-trained nine-year-old handles soft ground well and could be down to a workable mark now, so could pick up at least a place.
Down two pounds from his reappearance for the season, this Nick Alexander-trained seven-year-old could be nicely primed to win now on a surface he goes well on and a track he has a good record at.
This is not an overly strong race and, if jumping better than when he fell last time, this Lizzie Quinlan-trained gelding could win on his current mark.
There are several horse racing meets on December 10, and Coral has previewed them all.
