Having been a close second in a good quality novices’ hurdle behind the talented Military Alliance last time, this gelding can continue Nicky Henderson’s excellent record in maiden hurdles.
Toby Lawes’ horses have been running well and his new recruit Gnomon makes plenty of appeal on stable debut. He was last seen winning on the Flat and was a bumper winner last term too.
Not beaten far on hurdle debut last month, this Philip Hobbs and Johnson White-trained four-year-old is proficient over the trip and can win this weaker division.
Fergal O’Brien’s seven-year-old has run well on his two most recent starts and, if holding his form once again, should be competitive and could run to at least a place here.
Avoiding a penalty for winning last time out, this useful performer should have all the necessary conditions to repeat his winning form from last week for his in-form trainer.
With Jamie Snowden’s yard in such good form, Move With The Beat makes plenty of appeal after a respectable start for the trainer last month and has a handy three pounds from his rider.
Staying on the same mark as when fourth of 14 last time, this Seamus Mullins-trained filly could do better up against her own sex here.
