The Open Championship 2016 results

Henrik Stenson claimed his maiden Major in this year’s Open edition at Royal Troon, and in turn broke a number of records as he edged sole challenger Phil Mickelson in the final round.

The likes of Spieth and Day both flopped, but McIlroy and US Open champion Johnson put in credible efforts to finish tied-fifth and tied-ninth respectively.

USPGA Championship 2016 odds

Day is the defending USPGA champion, after he claimed his first Major here last year, but is behind McIlroy in the betting to retain his crown.

This year’s edition will be held in Springfield, New Jersey, where the winner will claim a cool $1.89m.

Ryder Cup 2016

Europe have been absolutely dominant over the USA in the Ryder Cup, that happens usually every two years, having claimed 11 of the past 15 editions since 1985 and each of the previous three.

The Americans will get home advantage this year at the Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota, and are slight favourites to finally regain the famous team trophy.
