A good-quality Class 3. Wardlaw, who is usually slowly away, is the archetypal Prescott improver, while Circus Of Rome returned to much better form at Pontefract. However, the pair to focus on could be the lightly raced dual AW novice scorer Oursin, and the rock-solid ERNST BLOFELD. Hamad Al Jehani's 4yo shoulders top weight (with Harry Vigors 5lb claim helpful) but that's justifiable given his fine efforts at Doncaster and Newmarket. [Mark Rowntree]
