Verdict
This is an uncompetitive novice and it will be disappointing if FARANDAWAY isn't good enough to get off the mark here after finishing second on five occasions. Both of his rivals have shown ability though and Donald looks the more likely to chase him home after finishing fourth in both of his starts. Komorkis got off to a decent start last year when third at Hamilton but she has run below that form it both her runs since. [Andrew Bladen]
