Verdict
This is essentially a match but it is difficult to get away from HOE JOLY SMOKE who is a useful chaser and could well have a good spell over hurdles following his Bangor win last time out. Handmedownastar (second choice) may have resented being taken on for the lead when fading into fifth at Cartmel on his stable debut last time but he is surely better than that and the drop in distance will also be in his favour.
