A weak-looking handicap but one that's unlikely to become tactical, with a number happiest on the sharp end. Front-runner Man Is King, who's looking to make it four wins from his last five runs, and Little She, who was only picked off by two who'd sat off the good pace she helped set last time, hold obvious claims but both could have done without the recent wet spell. The inconsistent San Francisco Bay is capable of better but the vote goes to ARTAVIAN, who ran well off this mark for Frederick Tett last autumn.[Graham Wheldon]
