Roman Kemp reveals hilarious Mikel Arteta story on 'Call Yourself A Fan?'
I was in my seat flying to Portugal, so it was a couple of hours on this plane, I was just watching Netflix, and then all of a sudden I just feel this tap on my shoulder, so I look up and it's Mikel, standing over me. I'd never met him before so he had no idea who I was. He just goes:
Were you at the game on Saturday?
I told him I was.
Did you hear the stadium announcement, how they did the goal?
I could remember it was different to usual; the announcer shouted 'BUKAYO', and the crowd shouted back 'SAKA', and they did it a couple of times, so I knew what he was talking about. I said:
Yeah, yeah, it was fun, it was fun.
He replied:
Yes, but how fun? Did it make a difference?
"Yeah, I think so...", I responded.
He nods and just says "my idea." It was intense, man!
