Man City and Chelsea 5-1 joint favourites for League Cup glory
Published:Coral make Man City and Chelsea their 5-1 joint favourites to lift the Capital One cup following the draw for the third round. City host former Premier League club Wigan in the next round whilst Chelsea are away to League One side Swindon Town.
The tie of the round sees Manchester United host Liverpool. Coral quote 15-2 for United to progress past their Premier League rivals and go on and lift the trophy with Liverpool now out to 11-1.
Arsenal and Tottenham have both been handed away fixtures to West Brom and Aston Villa respectively. It’s 10-1 for the Gunners to lift the trophy for the first time since 1993 and the same price for Spurs.
“Manchester United v Liverpool matches are usually mouth watering affairs, but added to the fuel that Luis Suarez could make return to Liverpool after his ten-game ban, this match promises not to be short of talking points,” said Coral’s Tim Reynolds.
