Leicester v Legia Warsaw: Foxes under pressure
Preview and odds for Thursday’s Europa League match

There is still all to play for in Group C of the Europa League as we study the odds to pick out some Leicester v Legia Warsaw betting tips.
Only three points separate leaders Napoli from Spartak Moscow in fourth and Leicester start the night in third place.
Thursday’s match at the King Power Stadium kicks off at 8pm and is live on BT Sport.
Leicester v Legia Warsaw match odds
Jamie Vardy’s penalty miss kept Leicester’s Europa League hopes in the balance last time out as they were held to a 1-1 draw with Spartak Moscow.
Aleksandr Selikhov saved the striker’s second-half spot-kick to deny the Foxes a crucial victory and they will be determined to make amends here.
Daniel Amartey had earlier cancelled out Victor Moses’ shock opener but frustrated Leicester were left to rue a huge missed opportunity.
Boubakary Soumare and Kelechi Iheanacho hit the woodwork with the hosts the better side while Spartak scored with their only effort on target.
The Foxes now host Legia Warsaw before going to Napoli in December for what could be a winner-takes-all final game, with only the top side reaching the knockout phase automatically.
Leicester v Legia Warsaw head-to-head
Legia’s odds of 21/5 to avoid defeat look generous considering they won 1-0 in the reverse fixture in September.
Mahir Emreli scored the only goal after 31 minutes to earn victory for the Polish champions while Jannik Vestergaard missed the Foxes’ best chance.

The Foxes were without injured first-choice centre-backs Jonny Evans and Wesley Fofana and it was another poor defensive showing which allowed Legia to score.
Amartey was bullied off the ball too easily by Emreli and the striker drilled a low 16-yard effort through Vestergaard’s legs and in off the post.
Leicester v Legia Warsaw key battles
Leicester have gone five matches without a win in all competitions despite being at home for four of those.
Their need for points should ensure manager Brendan Rodgers puts out a strong team but he may opt to rest Vardy, who played the full 90 minutes of Saturday’s 3-0 defeat against Chelsea.
