Trainer and Coral ambassador Joe Tizzard discusses the prospects of his three runners at Cheltenham on Friday.

Cheltenham 1.10 – Off To A Flyer

We head into this big weekend with the yard in really good form, and Fred [Gingell], our jockey in this conditional riders’ contest, is in good form too. His mount here, Off To A Flyer, ended last season on a high with victory at Ayr, a win that has worked out nicely as well.

We’ve given him plenty of time to develop over the summer, and he’s progressed into a really nice horse. This is his first run in a really competitive big field, but he won’t mind the soft ground, and I think he’s got an each-way chance.

Cheltenham 1.45 – Triple Trade

Triple Trade ran a massive race at Cheltenham last month, finishing second to one of Henry De Bromhead’s, and he’s come out of that race really well. We rode him with plenty of patience that day, Brendan [Powell] gave him time to find his rhythm, and he stayed on well.

We know he gets the trip well, and we’ll probably ride him a bit more handy this time. He should have improved for that first run, and he won’t mind any more rain, so I see no reason why he can’t run a big race.
