Jim Crowley Glorious Goodwood Day Four rides blog: 'He has a favourite's chance'

Jim Crowley has two rides on day four of Glorious Goodwood, and he previews them both in his latest exclusive blog shared with Coral's avid horse racing fans.

Beauld As Brass is stepping up to 2m4f, and I am confident he will get this trip. I'm down to 8st 7lb for the ride, and I think that's the lowest I've ridden at for about 10 years.

He was ridden patiently at Haydock last time, and similar tactics will be used here. It is a competitive looking contest, but my horse looks to be one of the horses in the mix.

Munsif is a horse we like a lot. He made it look easy on his opening two starts, prevailing at Nottingham and Pontefract, respectively. He was unable to complete his hat-trick on his handicap debut at York, but it wasn't a bad run.

He has been gelded since his last start, so hopefully that will bring some improvement out of him. I am sure this mark of 87 is workable, and I think he has a favourite's chance here of picking up his third career success.
