Belgium did the double over Denmark when the two teams were in the same Nations League group last year.

The first meeting in Copenhagen was Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand’s maiden match in charge and ended in a 2-0 defeat, with Jason Denayer giving Belgium a 10th-minute lead.
