David Probert Ebor Festival Day Two rides schedule
Game Striker - York - 2.25 race odds
Duke's Command - York - 3.00 race odds
Gold Dawn - York - 4.45 race odds
Mollie Foster - York - 5.20 race odds
2.25 – Game Striker
Game Striker is a lovely filly who was a little unlucky at Goodwood. She was drawn high and then left on the wing a little bit. I think she can bounce back to her previous form from a low weight here. I expect her to be competitive, especially if the first-time cheekpieces bring out some improvement.
3.00 – Duke’s Command
Duke’s Command is a consistent horse over 1m. He is only 3lb higher than his last winning mark, so if he gets it together, he will have a chance. As he does with all his horses, David O’Meara will have him in good order. Hopefully, we can finish in the frame and pick up a decent amount of prize money.

4.45 – Gold Dawn
Gold Dawn has been drawn in stall 10 in the nursery, which hopefully will not hinder us too much. He's been gelded since his last run, and wears a visor here, and has shown some decent form previously, most notably his unlucky second-place finish on his debut at Haydock. He should find things easier now that he is in handicap company, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him run well off an opening mark of 76.
5.20 – Mollie Foster
My final ride of the afternoon is on board Mollie Foster from Ed Walker’s yard. She is another one who will need to overcome a wide draw. Things haven’t gone her way on her last two starts, but she has still managed to be there at the finish. It’s a nice ride to pick up.
