Coral Horse Racing: Wolverhampton Tips - Boxing Day 2025
On the same mark today as when beaten just under a length at Lingfield last time out, this Michael Herrington-trained eight-year-old has a real chance at the weights.
Billy Loughnane rides this colt over Heart Beats True, who he won on last time out, so this horse as his preference must have a significant chance.
Having finished second on both her maiden starts so far, this filly is proving to be useful and has already proven herself on this surface. Having had a break, she can improve now and win
Down two pounds from his last start and given five pounds by his rider here, this six-year-old has at least an eachway chance and has gone well at this track in the past.
A winner over this distance and a fairly consistent type, this six-year-old comes back from a break here and might trump the rest at the weights now.
The step up in trip from five furlongs could prove to be a positive for this mare, who runs for the in-form all-weather specialist trainer, Tony Carroll.
David Loughnane’s horses are winning plenty of races currently and this four-year-old won his last start in good style and looks able to repeat that form.
This is not a great race, but this six-year-old is given a chance by his seven-pound claiming rider to recapture his winning form from the summer, but he might be eachway value too.
A new starter for Dr Richard Newland and Jamie Insole, a change of scene could have done him good and Hollie Doyle in the saddle looks promising.
There are several horse racing meets on December 26, and Coral has previewed them all.
