Coral Horse Racing: Saturday ITV Races - March 7, 2026

1.50 - Sandown

Up in trip to two and a half miles for the first time, this Coral Ambassador Joe Tizzard-trained gelding has the pedigree for the trip and, having won his latest start over two miles by 11 lengths last time, could still be competitive on his new mark.

TIP: Tennessee Tango

2.05 - Wolverhampton

Oisin Murphy is an eye-catching booking here as this horse makes her seasonal reappearance. She’s drawn nicely in one and Tony Carroll’s horses are running well, if having a touch of ‘seconditis’ so far this month.

TIP: Cinque Verde

2.27 - Sandown (Imperial Cup)

Two pounds up from his last start, beaten just three quarters of a length at Musselburgh, this seven-year-old is given another five pounds by his rider and represents a yard going well.

TIP: Afadil

2.42 - Wolverhampton (Lincoln Trial)

Karl Burke’s yard is in typically good form at present and this five-year-old is given a handy five pounds by rider Jack Nicholls. A fair, midfield finish last time out has brought him a pound down the handicap and this could now be within reach at a price.

TIP: First Ambition e/w

3.00 - Sandown

After a sparkling bumper debut, winning by 19 lengths, this point-to-point graduate of Max Comley’s looks difficult to oppose and bits of the form qualify her to get past some of her opponents here.

TIP: Burds Of A Feather

3.15 - Wolverhampton (Lady Wulfrina Stakes)

Still with plenty of mileage left at four years old, this Andrew Balding representative came back to the racecourse in good style in January after a lengthy lay off and can take a step forward now.

TIP: Cool Hoof Luke

3.35 - Sandown

Not too harshly penalised for his recent win at Ludlow, this charge of Venetia Williams looks competitive once again, lower down in the handicap in this higher class of race. His good jumping could be the factor to get him round at the sharp end.

TIP: Bucksy des Epeires
