Coral Horse Racing: Saturday ITV Races - April 4, 2026
1.25 - Musselburgh (Royal Mile Handicap)
TIP: Comic Hero
A winner in novice company on the all-weather when returning for his three-year-old season in February, this son of Saxon Warrior steps up to a mile for the first time and is bred to excel over this trip, so could be Oisin Murphy’s first winner of the day.
1.55 - Musselburgh (Silver Arrow Handicap)
TIP: Al Arbeed
Not beaten too far at Kempton last time on his reappearance, this four-year-old has come down a pound since and looks competitive for the Richard Hannon team, whose horses are running well.
2.12 - Haydock
TIP: Marche d’Aligre
Trainer Jamie Snowden is having a good time of things at present and this five-year-old is having his second run post wind surgery here, which can often be a positive. Joe Anderson takes off three pounds too.
2.30 - Musselburgh (Goliath Cup)
TIP: Roaring Legend
One of Roaring Lion’s only crop this six-year-old has shown plenty in his two starts so fat this year and looks able to win, now up in class and down in the weights.
2.46 - Haydock
TIP: Secret Trix e/w
Trained by Olly Murphy, this nine-year-old has recently had wind surgery and is handy at this mark. He would appreciate any further drying out of the track, though.
3.05 - Musselburgh (Queens Cup Handicap)
TIP: Wise Eagle
Fit from a hurdling campaign and down to a new low Flat mark after defeats last term, this nine-year-old could be worth at least an each-way play for Adam Nichol, whose horses are in terrific form.
3.20 - Haydock
TIP: Le Milos
A spring type, Le Milos will be happier on this sounder surface and looks to be on a favourable mark, having come down a pound since last time at Warwick over two and a half miles.
3.42 - Musselburgh (Scottish Sprint Cup)
TIP: Rhythm N Hooves
An ultra-consistent sort who rarely runs poorly, this six-year-old is fully fit and down to an attractive mark. Jason Hart in the saddle is a plus point too and he looks overpriced.
3.55 - Haydock
TIP: Bonza Boy
Jeremy Scott is having a very strong season and Bonza Boy ran a good race in heavy ground at Wincanton last time for second place. Given this better surface and the same mark, he could get further to the front.
