Another for Nicky Richards, this five-year-old has come two pounds down in the weights since last time out when first tried over this trip and looks to have a better chance today.
Wearing first-time cheekpieces, this six-year-old was second over course and distance last time and should still be more than capable three pounds up in the handicap.
Joel Parkinson and Sue Smith’s horses are bringing home plenty of success so far this term and this horse is nicely proven to stay this marathon trip so has at least an eachway chance.
A capable individual on his day, we can likely ignore this gelding’s reappearance, in which he pulled up, and he ought to be able to regain his consistent placing form of last term.
