Trained by Mickey Bowen, who is having a solid season, this Camelot gelding was useful on the Flat and makes a new start for a trainer who is excelling with younger horses.
Trainer Harry Fry is having a good season and it’s interesting that he has Harry Cobden booked to take this ride today. This mare is improving and could be in line for a big run here.
Sam Thomas’ seven-year-old should have his day here, having done well over fences so far. A top class performer who often picks up places in Grade One company, this Grade Two should be more within reach and give him his winning opportunity.
Having been so good for Dan Skelton already this term, Thistle Ask looks to have all the conditions he needs to make it four consecutive wins this season under Harry Skelton.
This horse steps down in class after two very good runs in Class Two handicaps. In slightly easier company, this should be within reach.
A promising sort for Olly Murphy, this five-year-old makes his handicap debut after some good performances in novice company. He looks nicely treated here.
