Coral's Daily Racing Tips - Sandown - December 6

12.10 - Sober Glory

Ridden by Harry Cobden, Sober Glory seeks to maintain his unbeaten record here, which includes the win of a Listed level bumper. Having won his first start over hurdles by 12 lengths, he ought to be the best here.

12.43 - Dramatic Encore

Harry Derham’s run of good form continues and, with Sean Bowen in the saddle here, Dramatic Encore can take a step forward from her first run of the season here and could be our winner from a seemingly fair mark.

1.20 - Chasing Fire

Another ridden by Sean Bowen, Chasing Fire was last seen finishing runner-up to Impose Toi at Aintree, who subsequently went on to win the Coral Long Distance Hurdle at Newbury. Chasing Fire may, therefore, be better than his current handicap mark and could win today.

1.50 - Lulamba

The only four-year-old in the field, Lulamba’s weight-for-age makes him all the more attractive after a very good chase debut at Exeter. He is the top rated by some way and looks to have all the conditions he needs to win again for Nicky Henderson.

2.25 - Kateira

Having last won when finishing 28 lengths ahead of Golden Ace, who has since won the Fighting Fifth hurdle, in a Listed race at Wetherby, Kateira looks underestimated by the market and can get to the front here, especially given seven pounds by rider Harry Atkins.

3.00 - Jonbon

If we discount his reappearance at Cheltenham, throughout the running of which Jonbon didn’t appear to have his usual vigour, the Nicky Henderson stable star could get back to his best here. His peak rating is higher than that of his two most prominent rivals and if he can run back to that rating, he’s the one to beat.

3.35 - Invincible Nao

Gary and Josh Moore’s horses are in good form at present and this representative won at this track on seasonal reappearance, is proven to stay the trip and, despite being up in the handicap from his last start, could be at the right end of the weights in this race and could be our winner under Caoilin Quinn.

There are several horse racing meets on December 6, and Coral has previewed them all.
