Ian Williams’ horses have been bringing home good results lately and, drawn in the innermost starting stall, Akrivos should be able to win at this mark now and wasn’t beaten far by the favourite last time out.
First-time blinkers should help this maiden from five starts get his head in front now. He is proven over the trip already and is given three pounds by his rider.
In a first-time eye-shield, this four-year-old of David Loughnane’s should be able to win on this mark and, as a course and distance winner, could reclaim that form here under Rowan Scott.
At a nice each-way price, this three-year-old could run another big race after finishing a close third of 11 last time out at this mark, and is given five pounds by her rider.
Capable of carrying weight, Hugo Palmer’s four-year-old could go well here on handicap debut as he has shown ability and consistency in novice company.
Wind surgery prior to his last run at Kempton after a break appeared to help, as he was beaten just half a length in a 12-runner race. With that run under his belt, he can take another step forward
Making a new start for Mark Loughnane today having been useful for Clive Cox, this gelding is down to a career low mark now and should be able to get involved.
