Joe Tizzard has a very strong strike rate with maidens and novices this term and he could have another winner on his hands here with a nicely bred son of Galileo, who is the only newcomer of the 10 runners.
The winner of a good bumper in 2023, the form of which has been well franked, this five-year-old returns from a long lay off given three pounds by his rider and is representing a stable in good form.
A course and distance winner, this eight-year-old made a respectable return to action and, running for a trainer in-form off a mark which is now a pound below his last win, he could surprise.
A fair start to the season in novice and maiden company, this five-year-old mare is given a useful seven pounds by her rider and could have her day now in handicaps.
Hughie Morrison trains largely for the Flat but his few jumpers tend to do well, so Star Artist must be considered now down a pound from when fourth of 10 last time, and has Sean Bowen in the saddle.
