Coral's Daily Racing Tips - Uttoxeter - December 9, 2025
In this three-runner race, the Coral ambassador Sean Bowen-ridden seven-year-old is the best on form and in class. He should be able to make light work of this if running to the best of his ability.
With a three-pound claimer in the saddle, this mare could put a disappointing pair of recent starts behind her now. She has her preferred soft ground and may appreciate the return to hurdles.
Having run well in some good bumpers last term, Baron Noir made a solid start to hurdling when second to the high class Cristal d’Estruval at Warwick last month. A step forward seems likely and he should be the one to beat.
Trained by Alan King, this six-year-old is a model of consistency and can improve on his handicap debut last time out at Lingfield. He likes soft ground and has a fair mark.
A course and distance winner, Nowmelad has come down to a very workable mark now and ought to do better than his last two starts on today’s softer ground.
A respectable return to action at this track in October should have set this mare up nicely for a winning chance today, back on her preferred softer surface.
There are several horse racing meets on December 9, and Coral has previewed them all.
