Ed Walker’s horses are in a good strain of form at present and this filly showed some improvement for stepping down to the minimum trip last time, so could go well again.
Having run well in bumpers over the summer, this filly looked to appreciate a step up in trip to 13 furlongs last time at Lingfield and could go even better today with further to travel.
Philip Makin’s horses are bringing in some good results now and holding their form well, so this Far Above colt could progress from a place last time out to win, now down a further pound in the weights.
Karl Burke’s all-weather two-year-olds must always be taken seriously and this nicely bred filly ought to have the ability to win a fillies’ novice for the in-form handler.
Back on to his last winning mark, this Lemos De Souza-trained three-year-old ran well when last seen at Chelmsford over further and could win now back down in trip.
Tony Carroll is in great form this week and this horse overcame a wide draw to finish third last time out so, drawn more kindly today, could be our winner on the same mark.
Despite carrying a penalty for winning last time out, Philip Makin’s three-year-old has been winning by good margins lately and hasn’t got much to beat here.
Down to a new low mark despite not being beaten all that far last time out, this three-year-old has been given a break and has seven pounds in hand from his rider.
Now on a workable-looking mark, this five-year-old has shown some of his best work over seven furlongs and should appreciate the step back up to this trip and is competitive from stall two.
