A good second to the talented Wade Out when returning for the new season at Cheltenham, this James Owen-trained seven-year-old is already looking promising over fences and is proven to perform in quality races, so this should be well within reach.
Having improved on a disappointing return to action last time out, this 10-year-old is now on his last winning mark. Proven over course and distance, he’s got a real chance here.
Trainer Ben Pauling is having a very successful season so far and this horse made a good start over fences at Sedgefield in November. A step forward can be expected and he looks an improving type.
Having placed in two good quality races so far, a bumper and a novice hurdle, this Olly Murphy-trained gelding could win under Sean Bowen here now in a weaker race.
Warren Greatrex’s filly showed good ability on debut at Cheltenham, so much so that her disappointing effort on return can be ruled out. The yard are in excellent form and she could go really well here.
Down to a tempting mark now after a respectable fourth of 13 last time out, this David Dennis-trained five-year-old goes well for Tom Bellamy, who rides once again.
Though inconsistent, this six-year-old is capable on his day. This is his better trip and he ought to prove to be at a winnable mark today under Ben Jones for Emma Lavelle.
