Makes a hurdling debut off the back of winning a Huntingdon contest on the level in May and a sixth prior to that on debut in March at Warwick, but this does look a pretty competitive heat for his hurdles bow for trainer Tom Lacey.

2.52 - Duel Au Soleil - 11/10

Ben Pauling’s runner has shown progress with two seconds on the spin and then getting over the line first at Wetherby last month, so is taken to go in again to continue his improving form. 

3.23 - Always A Reason - 4/1

Has dropped 1lb in the weights off a fifth of 11 last month at Carlisle but this point-to-point winner hasn’t got many miles on the clock and should strip fitter for that run last time out. 

You can either back the aforementioned tips individually, or combine them all into a big December 2 accumulator.
