Coral's Daily Racing Tips - Sedgefield - December 5
Second in a bumper at Kempton back in March and then followed that up with the same result on hurdling debut in October at Fontwell, Dan Skelton’s four-year-old should have more to offer here and get his head over the line first.
Patrick Neville’s point-to-point winner tackles obstacles for the first time and as a half-sister to the handy Teaforthree, is a newcomer to be on the right side of at Sedgefield.
A win might not be up for debate for another Neville runner, who can bring up a quickfire double on the card with three wins in his last four starts, it’s easy to strikethrough bombing out at Hexham when bidding for a hat-trick a couple of months ago.
Has to shoulder a 7lb weight hike for winning in fine fashion at Ludlow last week and is turned out quickly here by trainer James Owen in a bid to go back-to-back.
Winning a Hexham handicap in May was a big turnaround in form but has regressed a bit since. However trainer Ian Duncan will employ cheekpieces on his six-year-old for the first time to get back to winning ways.
A strong early-season runner and a winner of two straight races, the Philip Kirby-trained runner should make it a hat-trick here as he runs off an unchanged mark so there is plenty in his favour.
A winner on rules debut at Worcester in September and should follow up here for the powerful Skelton yard under a penalty.
