Coral Horse Racing: Plumpton Tips - December 15, 2025
Having won a fairly good maiden hurdle on Rules debut, and a point-to-point prior to this in the spring, this Sean Bowen-ridden five-year-old sets the standard on form here.
Having been below form last time out, dropping five pounds in the handicap as a result, this gelding wears cheekpieces for the first time here and could do much better.
1.30 - Masked Mistress
Another for Sean Bowen, this filly won two bumpers before being outclassed at Listed level on seasonal reappearance at Cheltenham. This looks easier for her and she should appreciate the distance.
Nick Gifford’s horses are running well at present and this six-year-old looks competitive on today’s mark and just might be able to win this four-runner race.
Down three pounds having pulled up last time out, this consistent gelding is just a pound off his last winning mark over hurdles and, if applying this to fences, should be our winner.
This mare has good course form and is now just a pound above her last winning mark, which came over course and distance in the summer.
Runner up to a good horse last time out, beaten just a length, this mare looks overpriced here and has at least an each-way chance.
