Coral Horse Racing: Newcastle Tips - December 13, 2025

3.05 - Jewel Maker

Back up to his last winning trip and just a pound above his mark that day now, this 10-year-old veteran looks to have a solid chance for Tim Easterby.

3.40 - Somebody

Given a chance by the handicapper here, Somebody is equipped with first-time blinkers today which should help him go one better than his two recent seconds.

4.15 - Lightning Lad

A strong finish for second place over a furlong less on debut promises good things for this step up in trip today.

4.45 - Bonnie’s Boy

Given five pounds by Warren Fentiman, Bonnie’s Boy wears first-time headgear today which could help him bounce back to his course and distance winning form of October.

5.15 - Pocklington

Given some time to freshen up since his last run in September, this consistent performer should be able to run a big race at his current mark and has good course form to boot.

5.45 - Mythical Phoenix

Down to an attractive mark now after an acceptable return to the all-weather last month, this five-year-old could be nicely placed to win now for Julie Camacho.

6.15 - The Green Man

A good run for fourth of 11 over course and distance last time out at this track over six furlongs ought to have primed this horse nicely for a step back up to seven furlongs.

6.45 - Judgement Call

Down a pound from last time out, this Linda Perratt-trained seven-year-old tends to run well at Newcastle and, given some luck in running, would be capable of winning this.

7.15 - Typeface

Though he remains on the same mark as his last three starts, two of which he finished second in, this Ian Williams-trained three-year-old is better off at the weights in this company and may be able to win now.
