The most exposed in the race, he has placed on two of his total three starts and, down in trip here, could get to the front here under the in-form PJ McDonald.
Jim Goldie’s year has seen a strong set of results and, with Arnhem’s mark having come down a pound since last time at this track, he could be our winner.
David O’Meara’s filly is down a pound since her last run, a midfield finish over course and distance, and could be weighted to win this under Mark Winn from stall five.
A consistent sort, Concert Boy has been within the first three home on his last five starts and could be slightly better drawn today in order to win for Katie Scott.
Beaten just half a length in fourth over course and distance last time out, this John Davies-trained mare is given another chance by the handicapper, who keeps her on the same mark here.
With valuable apprentice rider Warren Fentiman in the saddle, this three-year-old can get to the front off his current mark and can maintain his good course record.
After an encouraging run at Wolverhampton last month, Genius Mistake is two pounds lower in the handicap and has Tom Kiely-Marshall’s five pounds in hand so could improve on last time here.
