Coral Horse Racing - Lingfield Tips - December 13, 2025
Though far from dazzling on his chase debut last month, he tops the ratings by a fair way and, now that he has run over fences, he can take a big step forward for his in-form trainers.
Back down to his last winning mark now, this eight-year-old may benefit from a step up in trip now, but must leave his last run behind him.
Fourth of 12 in a good novices’ hurdle when reappearing for the new season last month, Olly Murphy’s five-year-old should come forward for that run and could be the best of the bunch here.
Already a novice hurdle winner who was subsequently second in the Grade Two Newton Novices’ Hurdle at Haydock in November, Masked Man’s backform is the best on show and the fact that his owners have jocked up Ireland-based retained rider JJ Slevin for this could be a tip in itself.
Down three pounds from a respectable run last time out at Huntingdon, this nine-year-old is given a handy five pounds by rider Jamie Brace once again and should be ready to run a good race for Alex Hales.
Having run well on handicap debut at Chepstow, this five-year-old could go better for the step up in trip and is given five pounds by rider Toby McCain-Mitchell.
A consistent sort who has placed on his two most recent appearances, this course and distance winner should have a chance of at least a place here for the in-form Gordon team.
There are several horse racing meets on December 13, and Coral has previewed them all.
