Coral's Daily Racing Tips - Lingfield - December 8, 2025
A fairly reliable performer from his four previous starts, this Ed Walker-trained son of Havana Grey has been gelded since his last race which will help him improve and he could win this on today’s mark from stall three.
Harry Eustace’s juvenile was third on debut over course and distance last month and, having run green that day, looks a likely improver for the experience and should be the one to beat.
Having had wind surgery and a break since his last run in August, a new low mark of 70 could prove generous today and a nice draw in three will aid his case.
A promising run over a mile and five furlongs last time suggests that the step up in trip here will be beneficial and he looks well treated here.
Down to what should be a winnable mark, Lightning Bear could be helped by the addition of first time cheekpieces here and the employing of a five-pound claiming rider.
After a good run over two furlongs shorter last time out on the same mark, Marcus Tregoning’s filly looks likely to appreciate the step back up in trip and can get to the front.
In first-time cheekpieces today, this six-year-old was a promising third of 13 last time out and remains on the same mark here but has five pounds in hand from her rider.
Down a pound from a respectable run for third of eight last time, Mark Usher’s gelding could get further to the front today having been given a break to freshen up since.
Back down a little closer to her last winning mark, this Ed Dunlop-trained filly should maintain her good strain of form here under Cieren Fallon and looks in the right handicap position to win today.
