Coral's Daily Racing Tips - Leicester - December 4
Running for Dan Skelton, Choice Runner was a good second in his first completed start over hurdles last time out and could go one better here, given three pounds by Tristan Durrell.
Despite being five pounds above her last winning mark, Seamus Mullins’ mare placed twice in the first month of the winter season and, given three pounds by rider Daniel Sansom, could find this within reach.
A maiden hurdle winner, this Olly Murphy-trained five-year-old has slipped down to what could now be a winnable mark. The step up in trip to two and a half miles could also be a positive.
This Alex Hales-trained five-year-old has won both a bumper and a maiden hurdle and may just be able to get the better of A Pai De Nom over this two-mile trip.
Having won at Hexham off a pound higher mark, Benmore is best over this two-mile trip and could prove to be well treated here for Laura Morgan and Danny McMenamin.
He has made little impression over two miles so far but, stepping up a further half mile today, which is more suitable as per his pedigree, he could nicely weighted to win this for Dan Skelton, who trained his half-sister Roksana to win the Cheltenham Festival Mares’ Hurdle.
Evan Williams’ horses are going well this term and Out Of Focus looks to be at a winnable mark now, having come down the handicap by a pound since finishing fourth of 12 on seasonal reappearance at Ffos Las.
