Coral's Daily Racing Tips - Fontwell - December 8, 2025
By far and away the best exposed over hurdles, having won three-year-old races in France, David Pipe’s new recruit sets the standard on form.
With today’s heavy ground, this mare is the best qualified to handle conditions and she is down to what should be a workable mark, plus has three pounds in hand from her rider.
A winner over this trip at Newton Abbot on a comparable surface, this Ben Clarke-trained gelding should have it all in his favour to win today under Rex Dingle.
This mare could outrun her odds and pick up a place here, as she is the only one with proven ability on soft ground conditions. If she takes to hurdling, she could be a factor.
Trained by Joe Tizzard, this five-year-old was second of 11 off just a pound lower back in January over hurdles on similar ground and, as he looks to be improving run on run this term, should have his opportunity to win here.
A course and distance winner, Gary and Josh Moore’s new recruit returns from a lengthy lay-off here but has Freddie Mitchell’s five pounds to help him. He goes well on ground like this and the stable are seeing plenty of success at present.
