Coral's Daily Racing Tips - Chepstow - December 6
There are some quality horses in this race but, when first tried over hurdles at Ffos Las in October, this horse displayed both speed and ability to finish second of 12, so he could win this, especially as he was given five pounds by rider Jamie Brace.
Having now come down to a tempting-looking mark, Lunar Discovery is a versatile and consistent sort who may have all the necessary conditions to win here. A useful three pounds from regular rider Charlie Price helps her case.
A pound down in the weights from last time at Wincanton, Love Of Neymore could take a step forward for that run and may be able to get back to her usual front-end form for Robbie Llewellyn and claiming rider Charlie Price.
This six-year-old is best on softer ground so, if the rain comes down for racing on Saturday, he can maintain winning run for JP McManus and trainer Nick Gifford.
With a run now under his belt, in which he was not disgraced for sixth of 18 at Cheltenham, this Nicky Henderson-trained son of Mahler could be primed to win now off a pound lower than last time.
Jeremy Scott’s horses are in flying form at present at No Panic could be his next winner if taking to the new step up in trip. He ran respectably on his first try over hurdles at Exeter last month and could be ready to win now, given seven pounds by his rider.
The winner of a fairly good point-to-point who subsequently sold very well, this could be another solid chance of a winner for Jeremy Scott. This filly has a useful pedigree and has the racecourse experience others are lacking.
There are several horse racing meets on December 6, and Coral has previewed them all.
