Coral's Daily Racing Tips - Cheltenham - December 12, 2025
Second of 16 on racecourse debut in a Listed bumper at this track last term, Ben Pauling’s four-year-old has since won two good races ahead of some smart rivals and he can outrun his odds here.
The highest rated of the four and the only one with previous completed form over fences, this Fergal O’Brien-trained gelding is a consistent performer who has gone well at Cheltenham in the past.
This is a very competitive race but Coral ambassador Sean Bowen’s ride looks to have a real chance at the weights having won up the Cheltenham Hill last time out.
With first-time cheekpieces on, this nine-year-old could build on a good last outing for third of eight around the Old course last month.
A good run last time out ought to set this 11-year-old up nicely for a big run here and he has beaten the favourite too.
Having finished ahead of Busselton at Punchestown last time out, Gavin Cromwell’s Irish raider could run to at least a place here and should appreciate conditions.
After a good second to A Pai De Nom in a conditional jockeys’ race on the Old course last time, this improving five-year-old can get involved today under Stan Sheppard.
There are several horse racing meets on December 12, and Coral has previewed them all.
