Cheltenham betting: 2026 Triumph Hurdle contenders and tip
Coral shares its Triumph Hurdle tip for the final day of Cheltenham betting for 2026.

Coral's Triumph Hurdle 2026 tip
Looking to be a hyper competitive race, the Triumph Hurdle has all the season’s best juvenile hurdlers coming together for a 17-furlong race. With all these relatively unexposed horses vying to produce their career best performance, it’s not easy to pick the winner.
Proactif is the favourite for Willie Mullins and JP McManus, having won at Fairyhouse ahead of the nice prospect Macho Man, who is 10/1 for this race.
Macho Man, though Proactif’s stablemate, is not Mullins’ first string. Instead, the Paul Townend-ridden Selma De Vary is, which is interesting considering this Grade One-winning filly was beaten by Narcisco Has last time out at Leopardstown. She also seems to have a preference for heavier ground, so it will be interesting to see how the market responds on race day.
Adam Nichol’s Minella Study has some of the best credentials for winning this race. He is unbeaten over hurdles (three starts so far) and was last seen winning over course and distance at the December meeting. That was a strong race and the form has since been franked. He could represent excellent value at 5/1.
Dan Skelton’s Maestro Conti is also unbeaten over hurdles and, a Grade Two winner over course and distance in January in a trial for this race he could be a big danger.
Coral’s big-race tip: Minella Study at 11/2
