Day three gets underway at the Cheltenham Festival with the Ryanair Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle run over the two mile trip.

Last year’s Champion Bumper winner at the Festival, Bambino Fever, could be hard to oppose in the first race on day three for the Willie Mullins yard, with her only blot on the sheet being a second on hurdles debut but rectified that pretty quickly when landed the odds at Fairyhouse last time out and she should take all the beating here.

Oldschool Outlaw, trained by Gordon Elliott, was the winner in Bambino Fever’s only defeat at Naas back in December and maintained her own unbeaten record for the Elliott team when winning the Solerina last month so rates the biggest danger to Bambino Fever.

Kingston Queen has some good form on her side, a winner of a Warwick Grade 2 last month but was no match for Supreme winner Old Park Star prior to that at Cheltenham’s December meeting, while another Mullins runner in Place De La Nation could have a big say in proceedings, beaten by Oldschool Outlaw in the Solerina but does have two wins from her last three outings.

Another runner of interest could be Amen Kate, trained by Tom Cooper and has jockey Jack Kennedy booked to ride. She was a winner of a Listed contest at Thurles before and while she will need to improve to score here, the manner of that Thurles win and her previous bumper form doesn’t rule out that happening.

Coral’s big-race tip: Bambino Fever @ 11/10
