Coral's Jack Richards Chase Cheltenham 2026 tip
Race two of the afternoon at Cheltenham on day three sees a big field of 20 runners take on the Jack Richards Novices’ Handicap Chase over two-and-a-half miles.
This year’s race is an absolute belter of a renewal and there are plenty of runners in here who have very decent shouts, including stablemate of last year’s winner Caldwell Potter.
That is Regent’s Stroll for Paul Nicholls though the Sir Alex Ferguson-owned runner will have to step up in form off the back of a second over course and distance in January which came off the back of an easy win in a match-race at Wincanton.
It might pay to look towards Jordan’s Cross here for the Anthony Honeyball team, who is three for four over fences and that included a win over course and distance in January and that form has worked out strong too.
Sixmilebridge is another runner of big interest in the Jack Richards for Fergal O’Brien and arrives here on a hat-trick having won the Scilly Isles at Sandown to complete hat-trick, while Wingmen is another of note for the Gordon Elliott team despite having yet to win over fences though is pitched into a handicap for the first time and his mark looks a lenient one.
Coral’s big-race tip: Jordan’s Cross e/w @7/1
