Coral's Hunters' Chase 2026 tip

An amateur level race for point-to-point horses, this is still a high class affair and really gets the crowd going.

Its On The Line is always a factor in this race and, even at the age of nine, is showing no signs of slowing down having won twice from four starts this season. He can stay this trip nicely so he must enter calculations again.

Sam Curling’s Wonderwall is ultra-consistent, having completed a hat-trick last season and starting this season off in similar fashion, winning at Dromahane in Open company.

Panda Boy seeks a hunter chase hat-trick, having won his latest pair of starts at Naas and Thurles.

Stattler will attract plenty of attention, running for Faye Bramley, who is having a good season, in first-time cheekpieces after a good win at Fakenham last month. This 11-year-old was a Grade Two winner at his best and he is still showing to have plenty of enthusiasm left for the game, so must be thought of here for his new trainer.

Barton Snow is unbeaten so far in hunter chases, having both speed and stamina, so looks rather overpriced at 14/1.

Coral’s big-race tip: Barton Snow e/w at 10/1
